Join us for a day with Sharon Garlough Brown, spending time in God’s presence as she leads us in an inspirational and practical way, to explore how our images of God can be restored and transformed.

Sharon Garlough Brown, author of the bestselling ‘Sensible Shoes’ series is a well known, international speaker and a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary.
As a spiritual director, Sharon regularly runs spiritual formation retreats and is passionate about providing opportunities for people to encounter God and experience his unconditional love.

9.30am - 10.00am Registration and refreshments including pastries and fruit
10.00am - 12.30pm Morning session led by Sharon
12.30pm - 1.30pm Lunch (Please bring your own lunch)
1.30pm - 4.00pm Afternoon session led by Sharon, including Q&A and concluding with Communion
There will be an opportunity to give an offering to Sharon on the day (by cash or card payment)

Is the day open to both men and women?
Yes everyone is welcome.
Will I still enjoy the day if I haven’t read Sensible Shoes?
Yes you will still enjoy the day if you haven’t read Sensible Shoes (although you may want to buy a copy and read it afterwards).
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, however there will be a few spaces available on the day.
Can I come for part of the day?
Yes of course, please stay for as long as you can.
Can I buy food locally?
There is a small convenience store 10 minutes walk away and several supermarket stores a short drive away.
Will you be accommodating special dietary needs or allergies?
Please specify dietary needs or allergies on the booking form.
Is there a crèche provided?
We’re sorry but there are no creche facilities.
I would love to come but I can’t afford it. Is there a concession?
Yes, concessions are available. Please contact us.
Is there disabled parking available?
There is disabled parking available (for disabled or those with limited mobility), in front of the church, with easy access for wheel chairs.
Is there parking available?
Parking is available on local roads and at Norman Park 5 minutes walk away.
How do I get there by public transport?
St Luke’s is a 20 minute walk from both Bromley South and Bickley Station.
The Southlands Road bus stop is immediately outside the church building.
