Step 2 - The Problem
God created us in his own image, but he didn't make us as robots to automatically love and obey him. Instead, God gave us a will and a freedom of choice.
We chose to disobey God and do things our own way - we sinned. We still choose to sin today. This results in our being separated from God.
The Bible says...
Everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.
(Romans 3:23)The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
