Outreach
We believe that the most important members of our church are the ones we haven’t met yet. That's why we believe that God's great purpose for us as a church is to go out and get to know as many people in our community as possible.
We're totally committed to the concept of friendship evangelism, which means that rather than sit back and wait for people to run in to our meetings or simply go out and preach at people who don't know us from Adam, we should do the same as Jesus - make friends and then introduce our new friends to God.
Our small groups run as many social events as possible in an attempt to get to know our neighbours and one another's friends and family in a non-religious setting. We also meet people through the social projects and the various programmes we run as a church: for children, teenagers, families, married couples, the retired, etc.
Alpha is a great way of sharing Jesus with people. A meal together, a talk and a chair. A relaxed environment where people can express their own opinions and examine the evidences for Christian faith without pressure. We run Alpha courses three times a year and everyone is welcome. We also have many guests meetings on Sundays.
