Church Leaders
We believe that the church is built by Jesus Christ upon an apostolic and prophetic foundation. We are completely committed to what are the Ephesians' five ministries: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Through our part in the Newfrontiers family of churches, we are linked into a wealth of such inter-church ministries and benefit greatly from their input into our local context. Our main apostolic link is with Ray Lowe. His help and advice to us over the years has been invaluable and we are greatly blessed by his oversight and teaching.
We believe that each local church is autonomous, whilst in relationship with an apostolic network. The government and direction of Hope Church is the responsibility of an eldership. At present this eldership is made up of Charles Glass, David Jackson, Gary Carvosso and Trevor Payne (leading Elder).
To become a member of our church means being prepared to receive and accept the oversight of these leaders. We don't have business meetings where the church votes on decisions we make, but instead we have family meetings where the elders and leaders share vision and the members discuss and pray together.
